Lead, Innovate, Amplify: Celebrating 10 Years of CISWH

Join CISWH for a celebratory reception in honor of the center’s 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, CISWH has led quality improvement efforts for the care of children with special health care needs, collaborated with medical professionals in Nicaragua to bring behavioral health care to rural areas, supported social workers and allied professionals through ongoing political disruption, and so much more.

Connect with colleagues and learn more about CISWH’s past, present, and future projects and how you can get involved. Dr. Laura Nissen, social work leader, professor, and futures thinker will lead a lively, interactive discussion to spur collective hope and imagination for new possibilities that can strengthen the field of social work and improve the lives of communities worldwide. 

Following the talk, Dr. Nissen will sign her new book, “Anticipatory Social Work: Foresight Approaches and Tools for Social Imagining and Collective Praxis”. Light bites and drinks will be served.
